Privacy policy

This policy sets out which personal data is processed when you use georgian.pro, on what legal basis, who receives it, how long it is kept and which rights you hold.

Version of [[ДАТА РЕДАКЦИИ]]. The version in force is published on this page.

Clause 1

The data controller

The purposes and means of processing are determined by [[НАИМЕНОВАНИЕ ЮРЛИЦА]], registration number [[РЕГИСТРАЦИОННЫЙ НОМЕР]], address: [[ЮРИДИЧЕСКИЙ АДРЕС]]. The person responsible is [[ПРЕДСТАВИТЕЛЬ]]. Data requests go to [[E-MAIL]], telephone [[ТЕЛЕФОН]].

The policy covers georgian.pro in all language sections and the correspondence on enquiries received through it. It does not extend to third-party sites linked from our materials.

Clause 2

Data you supply through the contact form

The form used to book the free consultation contains these fields:

  • Name — required, free-text
  • Contact channel — required: an email address or a messenger handle
  • Subject — chosen from a list: residence permit, company or IE, tax, bank account, property, other
  • Description of the situation — an optional free-text field
  • A hidden technical field carrying the address of the page the form was sent from: it identifies the service and holds nothing about you
  • An anti-automation field, hidden from view and never completed by a person

How much you write in the description field is your decision. Please leave out document numbers and special-category data — health, criminal record, religious belief: those are requested separately, and only where a service requires them.

Clause 3

Data collected by the hosting server

Whenever a browser requests a page, the hosting provider's server writes an access-log entry: the device IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the response code, the volume transferred, the browser type, the operating system and the referring page.

They arise for technical reasons — without them a page cannot be delivered — and serve availability, fault diagnosis and infrastructure protection. The site runs no analytics and no ad networks: no visitor profiles, no behaviour tracking.

Clause 4

Purposes of processing and legal bases

Data is processed to answer your enquiry and prepare a written quote; to conclude and perform an engagement, including filings with the competent authorities and banks; to keep the site available and secure; and to meet statutory retention duties.

The legal bases are consent, given by sending the form and withdrawable at any time; performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps; the legitimate interest in protecting the infrastructure; and compliance with a legal obligation. For visitors from the European Union these are Article 6(1)(a), (b), (f) and (c) GDPR.

Providing data is voluntary. Without a name and a contact channel an answer is technically impossible; an empty description field has no effect on how the enquiry is handled.

Clause 5

Who receives the data

Hosting and form handling — Netlify, Inc. The site runs on this company's infrastructure; submitted forms arrive in its system and are forwarded to the provider's mailbox. Netlify acts as a processor on the controller's instructions. Its servers and backups sit outside Georgia, including in the United States; the transfer takes place on that supplier's standard contractual terms.

Fonts. The font files are hosted on this site’s own server and load from the georgian.pro domain. The page does not contact any external font service, including Google Fonts, and no visit data is transmitted to one.

Data is not passed on, sold or used for mailings. Disclosure is possible to an authority acting on a binding request, and to notaries, translators and public registries — only as far as your service requires, and as agreed with you.

Clause 6

Retention periods

Correspondence on an enquiry that did not lead to an engagement is kept for [[СРОК ХРАНЕНИЯ ОБРАЩЕНИЙ]] and then deleted. Records on a completed engagement are kept for the period Georgian law prescribes and until the limitation period for possible claims expires. Server access logs are overwritten automatically by the hosting provider.

A withdrawal of consent or a request for erasure ends retention earlier, except for records the law requires us to keep.

Clause 7

Your rights as a data subject

In respect of your data you are entitled to:

  • confirmation that processing takes place, and access to the data
  • correction of inaccurate or incomplete records
  • erasure of the data, or blocking of its processing
  • restriction of processing while a dispute over accuracy is resolved
  • objection to processing founded on a legitimate interest
  • portability: the data you supplied in a machine-readable format, transmitted to another controller
  • withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing
  • a complaint to a supervisory authority

Requests go to [[E-MAIL]] and are answered within the statutory period; we may ask you to confirm your identity. The supervisory authority in Georgia is the Personal Data Protection Service (personaldata.ge); visitors from the European Union may also address the authority of their residence or workplace.

Clause 8

Browser local storage and cookies

The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and shows no consent banner, because no consent of that kind is required of it.

For convenience it uses browser local storage with two entries: eg-lang for the chosen language and eg-theme for the light or dark appearance. Both stay on your device alone, never reach the server and identify nobody; clearing the site's data in your browser removes them.

Clause 9

Security, changes and contact

Traffic is protected by HTTPS, and access to correspondence is limited to the people working on the matter. No controller can guarantee complete security for data sent across the internet; where an incident creates a risk to your rights, you will be notified as the law prescribes.

This policy may change with the law, the services used or our working arrangements. A new version takes effect when it is published here.
